DHA licensing is specialty-specific and aligned with the UAE PQR. Eligibility criteria (e.g. years of experience, type of training, exam requirements) vary by medical specialization.

General practitioners, specialists, and consultants each have defined qualification and experience thresholds. Some specialties require a Prometric CBT; others may require an oral assessment or have exemptions based on recognized qualifications. The DHA self-assessment tool reflects these criteria and gives an indication of eligibility before you apply.

We help doctors understand the requirements for their specialty, prepare the right documents, and plan for any exams or assessments. Getting eligibility right from the start reduces the risk of rejection and saves time.
