Healthcare facilities in the UAE must be licensed by the health authority of the emirate where they operate. Dubai facilities need DHA facility approval; Abu Dhabi facilities need DOH approval; facilities in the Northern Emirates need MOHAP approval.

Common steps include applying for a new facility license (often initially inactive), preparing the facility to meet space, equipment, and staffing standards, and passing an inspection. After approval, the facility license is activated. Medical directors and key staff must hold valid professional licenses from the same authority.

We help with facility licensing strategy, document preparation, and inspection readiness for clinics and small hospitals across the UAE.
