From start to licence activation, the DHA process typically takes a few months. Self-assessment and document gathering can take one to two weeks. DataFlow PSV often takes four to eight weeks. If an exam is required, add time for booking, preparation, and result processing. Final registration and activation can take one to two weeks after all conditions are met.

Delays often occur due to incorrect or incomplete documents, expired Good Standing Certificates, slow response from universities or councils during PSV, or exam slot availability. Planning ahead and getting documents right the first time is the best way to stay on track.
