The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) oversees professional licensing for anyone who wishes to practise in Dubai emirate. The journey typically follows five stages: eligibility self-assessment, document preparation, DataFlow Primary Source Verification (PSV), examination or oral assessment where required, and final registration with licence activation linked to a Dubai facility.

Start with the DHA Sheryan self-assessment tool to confirm your specialty aligns with the UAE PQR. Gather attested degrees, internship proof, experience letters, home-country licence, and a Good Standing Certificate issued within the last six months. Submit for PSV through DataFlow — this step alone often takes four to eight weeks.

Depending on your profile you may need a Prometric CBT or an oral assessment. After passing, complete DHA registration and activate the licence through your employer. For a detailed walkthrough see our DHA licensing guide, document checklist, and fees overview. Use the eligibility finder to confirm your pathway before you apply.
